AMA is originally from the name for women diver.

 

…so why AMA?

There is a reason why.

 

As a professional artistic swimmer, I performed in one of the greatest cruise; Royal Caribbean. In “Spectrum of the seas”, the new cruise which has decided to start on a voyage in 2019, there is the entertainment short movie, “Oceanides”, and I fortunately have chosen to be in the part of it as a main cast; one of the greatest performers of in Royal Caribbean cruise.

 

The name its given for me was…

 

“AMA”

 

As it mentioned, Ama is known as the name for Women Divers.

 

The movie,”Oceanides”, was basically made on the story of Ama.

-Ama meets lots of beautiful gems in the ocean, Coral, Lily, Crystal, Opal, and Pearl…

Deep in the ocean, the sparkle gems are all looking attractive, but Ama finally picks one, Pearl, and brings it back to the land.

 

It seems like showing my life how I retired Artistic Swimming, and chose to be in the brand new world called “Make-up Artist.” Challenging myself to be out of “the underwater” to  come out on "the land.” 

 

 I identify my own life with the story in this movie.

There are no other name than AMA to represent Miho Arai as a make-up artist and an artistic swimmer.

 

In addition, I realized that the word “AMA” can express almost all of who I am.
